We all know how overwhelming it can be to establish healthier habits and keep them consistent.

HASSNA ZAHRAMAN
Hey,
​
My name is Hassna I'm a Nutrition & Fitness Coach with a counselling background. I truly see the importance of not only nourishing our bodies through food and movement, but nourishing the mind through adopting an abundance mindset.
I studied nutrition and became a fitness instructor after battling my own health and weight issues, following a four year battle with cancer. Throughout my journey towards recovery I was overwhelmed and didn't know where to start. Having gained 40 kgs throughout my battle with cancer, I found myself in new territory and desperate to lose the weight.
​
I know all too well the feeling of trying to lose quick weight and trying FAD diets against your better judgement. I found myself in a culture that was demonising food and left no room for most of the traditional meals I grew up loving........I felt deprived, no energy, self critical and resorted to extreme exercise. I was given second chance in life and knew this destructive behaviour needed to STOP.
​
I changed the way I viewed food and saw food as the solution and not the problem. I've adapted recipes that I loved and made them macro friendly. I change my mindset from self criticism to self compassion.
​
Health is a lifelong journey and it should encompass all aspects of our lives. I've waded through the challenges of diet culture by integrating sustainable changes to suit my lifestyle. By focusing on body and mind, we can shift our mindsets and make changes to help us live our best lives.
